John Pocorobba
Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, Elkus Manfredi Architects
John Pocorobba, a registered architect, served as COO of EYP Architecture & Engineering, where he was responsible for managing his firm toward the simultaneous achievement of design excellence and profit performance. An early proponent of Building Informational Modeling (BIM) and integrated project delivery, John was instrumental in the development of two innovative programs, A16 and E10, designed to develop the technical and leadership skills of top young talent. These innovative programs, along with John’s leadership, positioned the firm to be selected as one of the Nation’s Best Firms to Work For by Building Design + Construction Magazine in 2012. He was also named one of the Capital District Business Review’s “40 Under 40."

While residing in Albany, New York, John served from 2013- early 2015 as Deputy Commissioner for Capital Programs for New York State Parks Recreation and Historic Preservation division. Presently, he is the Vice President/COO at Elkus Manfredi Architects as well as an adjunct professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic. His focus is on corporate operational excellence, talent development, and innovative project delivery strategies built on design expertise and BIM.
