William H. Dodge and Jesse Green join Hanbury

Hanbury Adds Two Architecture Principals to its Raleigh Office

Hanbury is pleased to announce the arrival of William H. Dodge as Principal and Market Leader and Jesse Green as Design Principal.

William H. Dodge will draw from his multi-faceted experience ranging from owner to designer to manufacturer in his new role as Principal and Market Leader for Hanbury’s Raleigh office. Dodge is an award-winning researcher and has a track record for innovative project outcomes. Prior to joining Hanbury, Dodge served in design and leadership capacities for BHDP, Hobgood Architects, NCSU Libraries and MRearte Studio among others. He holds a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies from NC State University and studied art and architecture at the University of Malta, UNC Charlotte and in the Studio of the internationally acclaimed artist/designer Mary Ann Scherr.

A Raleigh native and a fixture in the local community, Dodge serves on the boards of ACE Mentors RDU and Raleigh Sister Cities and also finds time for his role as the director of The Vernon Pratt Project, a local nonprofit dedicating to the preservation of the work and legacy of notable North Carolina minimalist/modernist painter Vernon Pratt.

As a Design Principal, Jesse Green will contribute his focus on community, collaboration and innovation spaces culminating from his 14+ years of experience while leading design teams from the Raleigh office. Green describes his approach to architecture as a collaborative culmination of art, craft, and function that empowers clients and builds on the sense of community. Green's designs are consistently rooted in a contextual understanding while respecting local culture, climate, craft, and ingenuity.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Green received an undergraduate degree from UNC Chapel Hill in Studio Arts and a Master of Architecture from NC State University.
